C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de
Guy Champoux
le 29 décembre 2022, à l'âge de 86 ans.
Il était l’époux bien-aimé de feu Hélène Sylvestre.
Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Sylvie Tardif (Jacques), Jacinthe Riccio (Pasquale), Lorraine Hanna (John) et René Champoux (Anna); ses petits-enfants Martin Tardif (Jessica), Mélissa McNally (Jeff), Alexander Riccio (Mariella), Mathieu Riccio (Yalinca), Daniel Hanna, Sarah Champoux et Amanda Champoux; et ses arrière-petits-enfants Émilie Tardif, Hugo Tardif, Mario Tardif, Evan McNally, James McNally et Alessandro Riccio.
Il laisse également dans le deuil son amie de coeur Lucette Lapalme et sa belle grande famille, ainsi que plusieurs ami(e)s.
Il est prédécédé par ses parents Donat Champoux et Marie-Louise Champoux (née Turcotte); ses frères Gérard Champoux (Evangéline), Gonzague Champoux (Yolande) et Roland Champoux; et ses soeurs Lucille Champoux, Jacqueline St-Laurent (Philippe), Gertrude Lechasseur (Jean), Hélène Abel (Conrad) et Huguette Lemay (Donat).
La famille et les amis sont invités à se rencontrer au Salon Funéraires Lamarche & Hill, 874, rue Notre Dame, Embrun (Ontario) K0A 1W0, (613) 443-3286, le vendredi 13 janvier 2023 de 14h00 à 16h00 et 19h00 à 21h00; et le samedi 14 janvier 2023 de 12h00 à 13h00. Un service funéraire sera célébré dans la chapelle du salon funéraire à 13h00, suivie d’une réception.

Guy Champoux
on December 29, 2022 at the age of 86.
He was the beloved husband of the late Hélène Sylvestre.
He is survived by his children Sylvie Tardif (Jacques), Jacinthe Riccio (Pasquale), Lorraine Hanna (John) and René Champoux (Anna); his grandchildren Martin Tardif (Jessica), Mélissa McNally (Jeff), Alexander Riccio (Mariella), Mathieu Riccio (Yalinca), Daniel Hanna, Sarah Champoux and Amanda Champoux; and his great-grandchildren Émilie Tardif, Hugo Tardif, Mario Tardif, Evan McNally, James McNally and Alessandro Riccio.
He also leaves to mourn his dear friend Lucette Lapalme, his extended family, as well as many friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Donat Champoux and Marie-Louise Champoux (née Turcotte); his brothers Gérard Champoux (Evangeline), Gonzague Champoux (Yolande) and Roland Champoux; and his sisters Lucille Champoux, Jacqueline St-Laurent (Philippe), Gertrude Lechasseur (Jean), Hélène Abel (Conrad) and Huguette Lemay (Donat).
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Lamarche & Hill Funeral Home, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, Ontario K0A 1W0, (613) 443-3286, on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12 to 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception.
